The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Gaffney can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I remember sitting in extra activities chess club with Joe and Ted. We were in the back of the room talking, and Joe stabbed me with a pencil just below the elbow. It wasn't out of anger; he just did it because he wanted mr to remember him. The point broke off in my skin, and to this day, it is still there. Every time I see it, it reminds me of Joe. So I guess it worked .He was a kind soul; always making me laugh when we saw each other in the hallways, or in a class that we had together.
