The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Raup can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Uncle Dave

He took me to my first Bob Dylan Concert at The Temple when I was 15 (he didn't even complain that we had to stand the whole time.) and my last concert at The Academy of Music when I was 30 (we did get to sit this time). I remeber the vactions we spent together in Poe Valley and sleeping in his Dog Butches bed when I was just little. He was a great Uncle who be there for anyone if they needed it.. I loved his dry witty sense of humor and the way he could always put a smile on your face. He taught me what good music is and so many other things I will carry through life. He was a great man who will be missed by all that knew him. Rest easy Uncle Dave your in God's hands now and heaven has gained another angel.
